Holiday Concert - December 18
The students of the West Chatham Middle School Band Program will be holding their annual Holiday Concert in the WCMS gymnasium on December 18 , 2014 at 6:00pm. This performance is free and open to the public.

Parent volunteers are needed to assist with the supervision of students before and during the concert event. Please contact Mr. Jervis if you can help.
This concert performance is mandatory as part of the School Band Curriculum. Parents with any questions or concerns should contact the Band Director (Mr. Jervis) immediately.

After School Rehearsal Dates
- Tuesday, December 2 (3:45-4:45): 6th Grade Brass, Lower Woodwinds, and Percussion (Trumpet, Trombone, Baritone, Tuba, Bass Clarinet, Drums) students only.
- Tuesday, December 9 (3:45-4:45): 6th Grade Woodwinds (Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone) students only.
- Tuesday, December 16 (3:45-4:45): All 6th Grade Band students.
- Thursday, December 18 (5:00): All 6th-8th Band students will meet in the gym for warmups and seating.
FAQ's
- What time should students arrive for the concert? Student performers are to arrive at the school no later than 4:30 pm to make final preparations for this event. If it is not possible for students to go home after school and return to the school in time for the concert, students may stay after school (with parental permission) in the band room to help move equipment and make other final preparations for the concert. Students should bring a healthy snack to munch on and clothes to change into for the performance!
- Where will the performance be held? The performance will be held in West Chatham Middle School gymnasium.
- What time will the concert begin? The concert performance will begin at 6:00 pm.
- What time will the concert end? The concert is usually over by 7:30 pm.
- What happens if my student is not dressed appropriately? He or she will be asked not to perform.
- What happens if my student is late? Out of respect for other performers, he or she may be asked not to perform. Please do not be late.
- What does my student need to wear in order to perform in the concert? Students should wear the following:
Boys:- Black dress pants (no jeans or shorts)
- Solid white (school uniform style) shirt (no tie, vests, or sweaters)
- Black dress belt
- Black dress shoes and socks
- Solid black dress pants or skirt (no jeans or shorts)
- Solid white (school uniform style) shirt (no scarfs)
- Black dress shoes, socks or stockings
